Hetch Hetchy Resource Guide Now Available
The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, in partnership with Yosemite National Park, has put together a resource guide about the Hetch Hetchy Water System. This guide was specifically designed as a tool to help park employees learn about the water system and the partnership between the two organizations. Wawona Road Delays Near South Entrance
7-14-17: Crews are continuing the Rehabilitation of the Wawona Road.  This work will continue over the next 3 months.  At this time there is no weekend or night time work scheduled. The current work zone along Wawona Road is 1 mile south and 1/2 mile north of the South Entrance intersection.  The current traffic delays are as follows:
 
Monday thru Friday
6:00 AM to 8:00 AM 15-Minute Delays With Alternating One-Way Traffic
8:00 AM to 3:00 PM 30-Minute Delays With Alternating One-Way Traffic
3:00 PM to 5:30 PM 15-Minute Delays With Alternating One-Way Traffic
(Pilot cars may be used to escort vehicles thru the construction zones.)  (M. Pieper)

Wawona Road Delays Between Bridalveil and the Rostrum
7-14-17: Crews are continuing to work nights on Wawona Road between Bridalveil and the Rostrum repairing damage from this past winters storm events.  The delays are Sunday night thru Thursday night 8PM to 6AM, with up to 30 minute delays, however on Monday, July 17th and Tuesday July 18th crews will also be working a day shift from 6AM to 5PM with up to 15 minute delays.  (M. El Portal Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation โ€“ Phase 1
7-17-21: Contractor will be installing the force main on Foresta Rd. One-way traffic control on Foresta Road is expected this week. Please watch for workers on the road and stopped traffic. CONSTRUCTION & TRAFFIC DELAYS
 
Yosemite Valley Road Work 
Work crews are on schedule to finish work on Northside Drive in west Yosemite Valley between the Bridalveil View pullout and Pohono Bridge by the end of July. One lane will remain open at all times. Crews also expect to complete construction on Southside Drive between Housekeeping Camp and Half Dome Village by the end of July.  (L. Acree)
