The Ansel Adams Gallery Black Friday Changes
The Ansel Adams Gallery will be foregoing its traditional Black Friday Sale this holiday season. However, as this is a small community, The Gallery would like to extend to all locals living and working in the park (Yosemite, El Portal, Wawona, Foresta, Yose West) a 25% discount on all in store items (original fine art and educational classes excluded). To give ample time, this offer will be good until Monday, November 29 and not just on Black Friday proper. The Ansel Adams Gallery asks that you please bring with you a form of ID that lists a local address or park employment. Thanks, and Happy Holidays from TAAG Staff! (I. Carlson)

CONSTRUCTION & TRAFFIC DELAYS

Merced Grove Restoration Safety Closure
The Merced Grove of giant sequoias is closed for restoration within the grove removing hazardous fuel loads. In 2020 and 2021, thousands of giant sequoias died due to high severity fire burning through fuel loaded forests. To reduce the risk to the Merced Grove of giant sequoias, a team will be removing fuels from in and around the grove. Email garrett_dickman@nps.gov for more information or access. (G. Dickman)
