COVID-19 OPERATIONS

COVID-19 Community Levels

Mariposa: Medium (was medium last week)
Tuolumne: High (was medium last week)
Madera: High (was medium last week)

This means mask wearing in federal facilities and enclosed public transportation is not required for staff, visitors, and others, regardless of vaccination status. While masks are not required, any employee may wear a mask if they desire. This information applies to all facilities in Yosemite National Park, the El Portal Administrative Site, and the Mariposa office.

This means that for the week of December 23rd through December 29th, business visitors are not required to attest to their vaccination status in order to gain entry to NPS buildings.

Testing
LHI no longer offers testing in Yosemite on Thursdays. For information on LHI testing contact April Hawley at the Mariposa County Health and Human Services Agency at 742-0818.

DOI offers reimbursement for asymptomatic testing that occurs as a result of workplace exposures; please talk with your supervisor for more information.
